Sunlander is live!

We’ve got a brand, product, a website, retail partners, and growing creative community and we couldn’t be more excited.

None of it happened on its own.

Sunlander Originals started with some of my closest friends and a shared belief that creativity and adventure are good for the soul. Together, we’ve taken those ideas and turned them into something you can pull over your head.

Shared collaboration is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. Late nights, long chats, and plenty of “what if we tried it this way?” Every colour way, every trim, every little detail has a mate’s fingerprints on it.

To all of our friends who shot, sketched, designed, wrote, tested and talked me out of a few bad ideas: thank you. To the friends who showed up when it was only a rough idea: thank you. To everyone who wore a sample, gave me honest feedback and told me when something wasn’t right yet: thank you, and keep doing that.

And to the team at the factory. Developing the fabrics and garments with you has been a proper journey, and a big part of why I’m proud of what we’ve made. Every Sunlander piece is 100% Australian made, from first stitch to final fit. It would have been easier and cheaper to do it somewhere else, but we never really considered it. Making it here was the whole point, and working alongside people who care about the craft as much as we do made it worth it.

We’re not launching perfect, and that’s the point. There’s more creativity to explore, more to refine in the products, and plenty we’ll get better at. But we’re launching with real excitement and real community ambition.

We want to explore creativity with our friends and take on adventure with that unmistakable Australian charm.

So here’s to the ringers, the raglans, and everyone who helped get them here. Come along for the ride. If you’re up for good times, you’re one of us.
